The latest exhibition of local artists at King & Ayres Interiors runs from 11 September to 20 December. It’s the perfect time to visit (3 Victoria Street, Wollongong) and browse for that perfect Christmas gift, or find something new and vibrant for your home or workplace.

You can Meet the Artists this Friday 13 September between 6pm and 8pm.

Special thanks to Renee Kamaretsos who has helped to organise and promote the exhibition. Renee is an accomplished and enthusiastic painter in a variety of genres and mediums.

Stephanie Laine is another exhibitor and her piece pictured below is called ‘Kala’ which means time. The piece represents the passing of time and the sentiment that ‘this too shall pass’.

Steph McLaughlin is a local artist and her works explore the beauty of the natural world through the prism of memory, intuition and emotional connections.

Kirsty Godwin is a self-taught artist with a passion for nature and wildlife. Most of her inspiration comes from the surrounding bushland that frames her home.

Jacqueline Burgess is an Australian artist born in South Africa. She was a finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait. Jacqueline’s work captures Australian landscapes and her love of the ocean and coastal scenery.

Another featured artist is glass-maker, Nikki Main. Nikki’s work speaks of the finite resources of the world and focuses on the movement of water in the landscape.

Sharon Blair is a Kiama based artist. She uses mixed media, and her abstracted works capture  the magic of the natural world.

Please support our talented local artists by visiting the exhibition and sharing on social media.
